What happened

The app couldn't complete the key verification process. This is usually a temporary issue.

Common causes

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Try again — this often resolves the issue
  3. Wait a few minutes and retry
  4. Restart the Council app

Auto-retry enabled

This error triggers automatic retry with exponential backoff (1s, 2s, 4s delays). You'll see a toast notification showing retry progress.
